It’s almost six months since Colin Charlesworth had his Anterior Cruciate repair by Professor Mackay.

He has worked really hard with his physio and has made great progress.

As a result he is on track to be able to start training with the squad in early January.

You will have seen him at Christie Park over the last few months and we are all looking forward to him making his Huntly debut.

Speaking on his progress, Colin had this to say:

“Things are going really well in terms of the rehab. It’s nearly six months post-op and I am gradually increasing things on the advice from the physio.

I’m back running without any pain as well as being in the gym four nights a week focussing on strengthening the muscles to protect the knee.

I am confident that I can keep the steady progression going to be able to finally pull on the Huntly top next year and start repaying the club for all the help and thank the fans for their unbelievable support when I am around the club.”
