Huntly have added to their squad with a further loan signing in time for this weekend’s home game with Fort William.

Aberdeen goalkeeper Tom Ritchie has joined on loan until the end of the season.

Ritchie (18) has made 7 appearances for Scotland at youth international level as Manager Allan Hale was pleased to take the keeper to the club after signing his team mate Jack MacIver on loan earlier in the month.

He said: “Once again I am grateful to Aberdeen FC, in particular Gordon Marshall and Neil Simpson for having the opportunity to bring Tom to the club on loan. As a result of Tom coming in, Keith Robertshaw will head out on loan to gain valuable game time and experience.

Tom is an outstanding young goalkeeper who is rated very highly within Aberdeen therefore he will come to the club providing strong competition for Euan and gain valuable match experience himself. We welcome Tom to Huntly and look forward to working with him during his loan spell.”
