CHILD PROTECTION POLICY - CHAIRMAN FOREWORD

Huntly Football Club are committed to promoting the welfare and safety of children, young people and vulnerable adults involved at Huntly Football Club. We do this by ensuring everyone involved in our organisation is given the highest level of protection, especially children and vulnerable adults.

Our Child Protection Policy aims to provide policy, advice and safeguards within the environment of our Club. Our coaches/first aiders are subject to PVG disclosure checks and volunteers involved with vulnerable groups are signed up to a code of conduct which we hope will provide a framework for a safe environment for all our young players to ensure that they are respected and looked after whilst within our care. It provides a clear position of Huntly FC and the expected standards to be upheld at all times. In addition, it provides the Club with guidelines for the protection of children and vulnerable adults.

Whilst we have these safeguards in place it is also important that anyone with any concerns around the protection of young players or vulnerable adults within the remit of Huntly Football Club makes us aware of them as quickly as possibly as possible.
