Forward Stuart Hodge was the top scorer for the side on eight goals pipping strike partner Andreas Mitchell by one goal.

From his previous experience at Buckie Thistle the 20 year old knows how important this completion is for developing players.

“It’s a good league to play in especially when you’re not getting regular football and from the under 20s you get game time and keep your match fitness up rather than get minutes here and there. For The younger lads who have played it’s good for them to come through and pick up a bit of experience.”

Mitchell himself admitted the change of position benefitted him after starting out wide.

He said: “Stuart and myself have linked up well, it’s not a position I’ve played much before until  this season and that’s partly down to Charlie Duncan who wanted to try me further forward and something has clicked between us and it’s helped us to the league title.”
