I had Robbie in my top three - you can't overlook any forward with that sort of goal return.

The Fans, Officials & Players broadly had the same group of players. I concurred with one of their number one selections. Of course, the context was poor league placing again and no cup success to talk of.

If I were mischievous, I would comment on the absence of Robbie by the Officials in their top four. But I'm not, so I won't.

Forward Stuart Hodge was the top scorer for the side on eight goals pipping strike partner Andreas Mitchell by one goal.

From his previous experience at Buckie Thistle the 20 year old knows how important this completion is for developing players.…

Coaches Delighted At First Aberdeenshire League Title

Huntly made history on Monday with their first GPH Aberdeenshire League title.

The under 20s side went unbeaten in their last six games and with reigning champions Formartine United being held to a 1-1 draw at Keith, the black and gold’s would go on to seal the title with an impressive five-nil win over Banks O’ Dee at Christie Park.

After seeing his side lose out in the title race to Formartine last season, Huntly coach Chris Baird was delighted to help the club to their first piece of silverware since 2007.…
