This time of year always requires us to reflect on the one that's just about past and i look upon it as progressive and positive one from the club's point of view. There are always highs and lows of course, but the undoubted high for me came when our U20's team won the Aberdeenshire league for the first time. A real reward for the time and effort invested in our youth development and of course two youngsters from that team have also now established themselves in the first team which is an added bonus.

Of course there were some disappointments including only finishing 14th in the league last season despite substantial investment in the team and our early exit from the Scottish Cup at the hands of junior opposition. It was also sad to finish the year having another change of management, but these things happen in football and I look forward to 2018 with confidence.

Off the park, we have a big Bingo night to look forward to on the 5th of January so feel free to come along and hopefully win the big prize. We also have our annual boxing dinner on the 16th of February, so why not come along to what is always a great night.

It only leaves me to wish you  a happy new year when that comes.
