A very warm welcome to one and all to this afternoons match and an especially warm welcome to all our far travelled friends from Wick.

It is always a great pleasure to welcome Wick chairman James Innes and his hard working committee to Christie Park to reciprocate the always generous hospitality we receive at Harmsworth Park. As with Brora and Fort William, I am full of admiration for the commitment Wick show to local football when they face these gruelling trips every 2nd week and I hold them in the highest regard as a club.

We have had a two week break following the postponement of the match at Nairn in tragic circumstances and of course our absence from the Scottish cup. However I know the break has helped ease the injury problems considerably, so hopefully we will come back refreshed and ready to try and push up the league.

Off the park, we held our annual Sportsman's lunch at Pittodrie Stadium yesterday and the event was a great success on all fronts. A big thank you to all the committee who organised the event and all the attendee's and sponsors on the day.

We also have the next instalment of our Gold league Bingo on November the 3rd when we will be playing for £1700, so why not come along and try your luck. Remember it is also our Halloween special with prizes for the best costume.

It only leaves me to wish you an enjoyable afternoon with us and to thank you once again for your support.
