We’ve had  number of tough fixtures lately against teams at the top end of the table and today is not different when he welcome Highland League Cup holder Brora Rangers for today’s quarter-final tie. You want to play against the big teams and Brora will be a massive game for us, cup games keep your season alive and Brora are a very good team as we know like Formartine who we faced on Wednesday so we expect a similar performance against Brora. We’ll got for and be difficult to beat and get forward when we get the ball. Ross Tokely watched us himself on Wednesday, obviously Andy and I weren’t here the last time we played Brora but there’s a lot of talent in the dressing room and hopefully we’re now building on the confidence.

Wednesday night was a big result for us after the bad result against Cove Rangers and bar that game, results have been good since we came to the club. Andy and I said we take part of the blame for the Cove result and performance but since that game we’ve bounced back and look to take our recent form into today’s match.

Unfortunately we’ll be missing recent signing Kieran Adams who was cup-tied after playing for Inverurie Loco Works in the last round, we knew that when we signed but we’ve got a squad of players and every team will have injury or suspension problems to deal with.  Kieran will be a big miss but it now gives another player an opportunity.

Ross Still took a knock on Wednesday to his foot and thankfully he’ll have had a couple of days break and we’ll assess him before kick-off. Hopefully he’s ok to play as he’s been first class since we came to the club.
