I think its safe to say we are all desperate for the game to get the go ahead on Saturday.

A run of postponed matches has been frustrating and while it was good to get a training match in recently, that turned in to a disaster with the loss of Sam. Sam will be a big miss and all the boys are hoping for a speedy recovery.

A lot has changed since the defeat by Formartine. We are back to virtually full strength and have added to the squad so we are hoping for a totally different outcome against Rothes.

We have been training hard and getting used to each others style of play but nothing can help that understanding more than a match on a Saturday.

The enforced layoff does make it feel almost like a fresh start. We can forget about the performances around the Christmas period and try to build up a good record from now. It starts with our home form which has suffered recently. Our next two home games are games that as a squad we should be winning and it is really up to us to start putting in performances that make teams not look forward to coming to Christie Park.

Enjoy the match,
