Our second annual player awards lunch was held today in the Social Club with Grant Campbell and Neale Davidson both amongst the main winners.

 

The results were as follows

 

Young Player of the year (voted by players): Neale Davidson
Runner-Up:
Daniel Stewart

In a category which included a lot of young talent including Michael Clark, Daniel Stewart Paul McCarthy, Sam McKenzie and Jason Coyle. Neale is in his second full season at the club after signing from Lewis United the 21 year old has weighed in with fifteen assists and six goals.

Runner-Up:
Neale Davidson

Leading by example both on and off the park his contribution has been recognised by his fellow team mates, club captain Campbell has been a consistent performer in both defence and midfield.

As voted for by committee and board members, those behind the scenes have also recognised the performances of the former Wick Academy player whose great attitude and leadership has made him a favourite both on and off the park.

 

Fans’ Player of the Year: Neale Davidson
Runner-up: Andrzej Kleczkowski

Voting was open to all fans recently and was extremely tight between the top two. Neale Davidson picks up his second award after an impressive season.

 

Top scorer award: Andrzej Kleczkowski (21 goals)
Runner-Up: Lukasz Stasiak (8 goals)

With 21 goals in 32 games including a double brace over Rothes the Polish forward has enjoyed his most prolific spell at the club. Andrzej Kleczkowski is only the fifth player this century to score over twenty goals in a season for the club player after Russell Guild, Richie Taylor, Bruce Cormie and Michael McGinlay.
