Huntly have received a signing boost with a player returning on loan for the remainder of the season.

Ashley Ballam has finalised a second loan spell from Elgin City before 11am to come back to Christie Park.

Manager Martin Skinner was pleased to get the loan deal secured and boost his defensive options.

He said: “It’s good news to have Ashley Back for the rest of the season, he has played a lot of games for us during his first spell on loan.

Despite his age he’s already into his third season in the Highland League. He’s young and eager to learn and develop and fits in very well with us, so it’s great for both parties.”

Ballam (19) who has played for Rothes and Strathspey Thistle in previous loan spells, originally signed on loan from August through to the new year and made 23 appearances proving himself a danger at set pieces netting four goals.
