There has been a quick return to Huntly today for a player who left Christie Park little over a month ago.

Reece McKeown (18) has now returned to the club on a two year contract after leaving for Turriff United on 3rd April.

McKeown who can play up front or on the wing was part of the squad which won the Aberdeenshire League for the first time in 2016/17. In the summer of 2017, he penned a two year contract with the club and made 51 appearances scoring 2 goals before suffering a leg break in October 2018.

Manager Martin Skinner was pleased to get the teenager to make a return to the club so quickly.

He said: “It’s great news that we have re-signed Reece, he is another young player who has huge potential. We’re looking forward to getting him fit and fully recovered from his latest injury, as previously he has shown what a good asset he can be to this squad we currently have.”
