On Saturday (6th October), Reece McKeown sustained a serious leg injury in the last few minutes of the home game against Forres Mechanics.

X-rays confirmed that Reece had fractured both his lower tibia and fibula. He required Internal Fixation (a rod and screws) to the Tibial fracture. . He will be on non-weight bearing crutches for two months and will be unable to be involved in football for at least six months

Reece has quickly made an impression on and off the field of play since joining Huntly as a 16 year old. He is popular with his fellow players, the club officials and our fans alike.

All of us at the club wish him a speedy recovery and look forward in the fullness of time to seeing him back in a Huntly shirt flying up the wing.
