Huntly suffered a setback in their opening game of the 2013/14 season after league champions Cove Rangers came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw and dent the black and gold's hopes of a first win at Allan Park since February 2006.

Having not won at Allan Park for seven years, Huntly Manager Dave McGinlay admitted it was two points dropped for his side who let a two-nil lead slip.

I felt on the reflection of the game we played some terrific stuff

Cove Rangers Manager Kevin Tindal was disappointed with the way his side started the game but pleased with the comeback after trailing by two goals.

I didn’t think we showed anything until the last twenty minutes
