Huntly’s opening day hoodoo continues with the black and gold’s now losing their first game of the season for the third straight year following a one-nil defeat at Lossiemouth.

Lossie had Kris Duncan and James Leslie in for debuts while summer signing Logan Johnstone made his first competitive outing for the black and gold’s. Midfielder Glenn Murison was missing through suspension but there was a welcome return for Huntly winger Neale Davidson who made his first competitive appearance since 21 st April 2018.…

Huntly’s final pre-season game ended in defeat as an Aberdeen XI netted four times inside the first half.

Huntly made changes from the side which lost to Dyce on Saturday with Euan Storrier, Blair Johnston, Glenn Murison, David Booth and Bradley Manson all coming into the starting eleven.…

Huntly suffered their first pre-season defeat with a 3-1 loss away to Dyce.

The black and gold's were missing three defenders with Alexander Jack, Blair Johnston and Bradley Manson all unavailable. New loan signing Euan Storrier was added to the bench after he was signed the morning of the game.…

Huntly came from behind to earn a draw in today’s friendly match against junior side Banchory Saint Ternan.

Huntly went into the fixture missing a number of players with Logan Johnstone, Glenn Murison, Nicholas Gray and Lewis Ifi all unavailable. Cory Ritchie, Paul Esslemont, Matthew McDonald and Neale Davidson all came into the starting eleven. The game had a personal rivalry added to it with Huntly Assistant Manager Ricky Cheyne going up against his son Liam who started at left back for Banchory.…

Glentanar 0 Huntly 7 (Friendly Match)

Forward Nicholas Gray (pictured) bagged a hat-trick as Huntly eased past junior side Glentanar their opening friendly match with a seven-nil away win.

David Booth was ruled out through injury while new signings Logan Johnstone, Reece McKeown and Paul Esslemont were all included in the squad. There was a return to action for Neale Davidson who was on the subs bench.
Glentanar fielded Lewis Beattie and Robbie Paul after the two youngsters were released from Huntly at the start of the week.…
