Manager-less Huntly got their first win of the season with a six-nil win over bottom side Fort William.
Huntly made one change from the weekend with Matthew McDonald coming in for the suspended Kai Ross. Fort were hit by selection problems with a third of the squad made of up trialists. Huntly got off to a great start opening the scoring within 88 seconds. Matthew McDonald made a darting run down the left channel and drilled the back across the box for Gary McGowan who took a touch to drill in for his second goal in as many games. The home side doubled the score in the nineteenth minute when a long ball upfield from Alexander Jack split the Fort back five and McGowan nipped in behind to finish with a low shot. McGowan completed his hat-trick in the 68th minute latching onto a ball down the left channel before cutting in low to finish with a low drive. Huntly Captain Michael Clark made it three goals in two games when he stooped to head at the near post from a McGowan corner. Two goals in the last thirty seconds saw the home side complete the rout. McDonald's lay off was ran onto by Alexander Thoirs who lashed high into the net. Substitute Tom Andrews netted his first for the club just into stoppage showing composure before firing in after a run behind the defence.
